The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Central Bucks County. They say a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Doylestown moving to the east at 10 mph. The warning is in effect until 6 pm on Saturday.

The impacted locations include Doylestown, Newtown, Richboro, Newtown Grant, Village Shires, and Churchville.

If you're in the impacted area take cover now and move to the most interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. You should avoid windows. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with the storm, which is likely to cause flash flooding.

In addition to a possible tornado, this storm is producing blinding rains, NBC10's Steve Sosna said during a live broadcast just before 5:50 pm on Saturday. This storm is capable of winds near 50 mph even if there isn't a tornado, Sosna reported during the broadcast.
