Broken Water Main in Ewing Township Leads to Traffic Delays

We're hearing some breaking news about a water main break in Ewing Township happening at this hour. Officials are on the scene of a water main break near Olden & Prospect Streets in Ewing Township, Mercer County.

Ewing's mayor,Bert Steinmann, announced that Olden Avenue will be closed in both directions into Saturday. The closures will run from Prospect Street to Arctic Parkway.

Television footage from Fox29 shows that officials are on the scene assessing repairs.

It appears to have been a 16" water main that broke, according to a tweet from Philadelphia's 6ABC.

We'll have more information when it becomes available, but it's likely this will take some time for repairs to be finalized.
