Celebrity Tax Evaders Who Had To Do Time In New Jersey
Over the years numerous celebrities have faced charges of tax evasion, and a lot of times it happens in New Jersey. From Martha Stewart to Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino... it happens a lot.

With tax season right around the corner, nj.com thought it would be fun to release this list. Here are a few highlights:
Martha Stewart served five months in prison and five months of house arrest for covering up insider trading.
Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino (Jersey Shore star) was sentenced to eight months in prison for tax evasion. He's currently serving his time in a federal prison in Otisville, New York.
Joe Giudice (Real Housewives of New Jersey) was sentenced to 41 months on fraud charges, 12 months of which are being served concurrently for failing to file taxes in 2004.
