Florals? For spring? Sounds like fun in Philly!

If you're looking for a fun, Instagrammable venture this weekend so you can stop and smell the cherry blossoms, the Shofuso Cherry Blossom Festival returns to Philadelphia this weekend, April 8-10, at the Fairmount Horticulture Center in West Fairmount Park.

Returning for the first time in 2019, the festival, which was a single-day event in previous years, will now be an all-weekend event full of concert performances, as part of the Sakura Concert series.

Visitors can come take a stroll and soak in the view of the gorgeous cherry blossoms that mark the coming of spring in Japan. I mean, look how beautiful these pictures are from the Philly Sakura Instagram page!

Come for the blooming blossoms, and stay for a range of musical performances by hip-hop, jazz, taiko, funk, reggae, and percussion musicians. Each day will feature a different show.
