Date Set for Ollie’s Grand Opening in Lawrence, NJ
Looks like the date's set for the grand opening of the new Ollie's Bargain Outlet in Lawrence Shopping Center on Brunswick Pike in Lawrence Township.
Get ready to shop and save money. A handwritten sign on the front door says Thursday, March 17th will be opening day. Shelving and check out computers are still being installed, then, of course, all the merchandise has to be loaded in.
If you're not familiar with Ollie's Bargain Outlet, it's slogan is "Get Good Stuff Cheap." I've seen people on Facebook compare it to a Big Lots, which I love. I can always find great random stuff that I didn't even know I needed there. Lol.
There's an Ollie's Bargain Outlet in Hamilton Township (Independence Plaza, 2465 South Broad Street) and friends of mine love it, saying it has a little bit of everything from food, clothing, books, beauty products, personal products (like toothpaste and mouthwash) yarn, seasonal decorations to stuff for your lawn & garden, appliances, fishing gear, camping gear, and so much more. Wow. Seems like something for everyone at low prices to me. Who doesn't love to save money?
While some local residents can't wait for the new addition to newly renovated Lawrence Shopping Center, not all are convinced it's a good fit. Other new tenants to the shopping center include discount retailers, Five Below, Lidl, and Dollar Tree, prompting questions on social media if more, similar stores are needed. Some say no, but, many said they're all different stores with different things to offer, and there's plenty of room for all. We'll see.
You know I'll be checking it out. I love a good bargain.
