Diesel and Duke Burger Chain Opening in Downtown Princeton

Diesel and Duke, a New Jersey based burger chain is opening in downtown Princeton soon.  Their website definitely grabs your attention with pictures of mouth watering burgers, and they brag that they are the best in New Jersey, plus, their fried oreos look amazing. I can't wait to give it a try.

Diesel and Duke will be located on Nassau Street, where the old 30 Burgers was. A worker was recently spotted putting some signage on the outside windows, so hopefully that means, they're almost ready to open.

The Apparantly, this has been in the works for awhile. I took a look at their facebook page, and way back in September of last year, they announced that they were officially coming to Princeton.

I was checking out their menu online and it's tempting. They, of course, have a standard burger, but then the menu gets interesting with a Holypeno burger with jalepenos, carmelized onions, bacon, aged cheddar, and a spicy mayo. Their Smokeshow burger has bacon, aged cheddar, onion ring & bbq sauce. Any guesses what an SPBB Burger is?  SPBB stands for sriracha, peanut butter, and bacon...wow. Their breakfast burger got a great review on their website. It has bacon, a fried egg, aged cheddar, aioli, and ketchup. Are you hooked yet? Make sure to try their vegetarian option too, The Falafel...a kale and chickpea falafel patty, with lettuce, tomato, onion, and aioli.

I'll keep watching for grand opening info.
