Falls Township and The Mid-Atlantic Event Group are co-hosting Drive In Movie Nights in Levittown throughout the summer, according to Facebook. Yardley and Feasterville-Trevose will have them too.

This is exciting. Many events and activities have already been canceled this summer, so it's nice to have something to look forward to. I've only been to a Drive In Movie once (I was on a date in college), and it was so cool. I would love to do it again. It's great to see lots of makeshift drive in theaters popping up throughout the area during the coronavirus pandemic, since movie theaters are closed.

Here are the details: The movies will be shown at the New Falls Township Community Park on Mill Creek Road. All the movies are family friendly. Each movie night will be from 6:30pm - 10:30pm. You'll have plenty of time to get in, park, and enjoy. You have to buy your tickets online. I wouldn't wait, this Saturday night's showing of Grease (one of my all time favorite movies) is already sold out.

Here's the movie schedule:

Friday, July 10th - The Little Rascals

Saturday, July 11th - Grease  (SOLD OUT)

On Friday, July 24th, you'll celebrate Christmas in July by watching Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Saturday, July 25th - Jurassic Park

Saturday, August 15 - Sonic The Hedgehog
More dates will most likely be added, so keep checking back here.

The New Falls Township Community Park is located at 9050 Mill Creek Road, Levittown, PA.19054.

There will also be Drive In Movies in Feasterville-Trevose at Hilltop A.A. and in Yardley at Memorial Park. Click here for those details and to buy tickets.
