Frontier Airlines, which regularly flies out of Trenton-Mercer Airport, will require all passengers to wear face coverings, starting next week, according to the airline's website.

This new policy will take effect May 8th. The face covering will have to go over your mouth and your nose at all ticket counters, gates, and on all planes. Frontier crews started doing this back on April 13th. The website states, " Very young children, for whom a face covering is inadvisable, will be exempt from the policy."

The CEO of Frontier Airlines said in a statement, “We want our passengers to feel comfortable when flying with us by protecting themselves and their fellow travelers as we all navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. This new measure is aligned with CDC recommendations and those of many municipalities within the U.S. that include wearing a face covering when out in public.”
