Now we've learned that Mayor Jeff Martin has decided to reopen Hamilton Township's parks on Saturday, as well.

Here is the statement that was posted on the Hamilton Township website:

"In coordination with the Governor's decision to reopen all State and County parks, Mayor Martin has announced that all Hamilton parks will reopen beginning sunrise, Saturday, May 2nd for passive recreation only. All playground equipment, dog parks, tennis courts, skate parks, and other park facilities remain closed.

Please continue to practice CDC guidelines such as maintaining social distancing and wearing cloth masks while in public to help slow the spread of COVID-19. By working together, we will get through this together. You all continue to make me #HamiltonProud!"

Hamilton Township closed its parks on April 7.
