Holiday Food Drive at Starbucks in Lawrenceville

'Tis the season to give back. It's always so sad for me to hear about how many local families are struggling this holiday season because of a job loss, medical reasons, a death of a loved one, and other reasons.

I want to help, and I'm hoping you will too.

The Lawrence Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 209 is hosting a Holiday Food Drive right now. You can drop off canned good and nonperishable food items at four Lawrenceville locations until the morning of December 23rd.

Those locations are:

• Shop Rite, 3371 Brunswick Pike
• Starbucks, 2673 Main Street
• Dunkin Donuts, 1278 Lawrenceville Road
• Lawrence Senior Center, 30 East Darrah Lane

Then, on Sunday, December 23rd from 10am-2pm, some of the officers will be collecting more donations at Starbucks, 2673 Main Street in Lawrenceville. You can actually bring a donation that morning to get a complimentary cup of coffee from Starbucks.

All donations will be going to HomeFront, on Princeton Ave. in Lawrenceville. They're an awesome organization that helps break the cycle of poverty in our area.
