Hopewell Boy Needs a New Heart, His Family Needs Your Help

A 10-year-old boy in Hopewell needs a new heart, and his family needs your help, according to Mercer Me.

Hi name is Robert Loftin and he's the cutest 10 year old you've ever seen. The article had me in tears. It's nice to see his local community coming together to help. Robert has been diagnosed with advanced heart failure, and his parents, Andrea and Michael, obviously want the very best care for their son, but, that takes money, and a lot of it. They need help. I can't even begin to imagine if I were in their shoes. If everyone gives a little, it would be a lot for this hopeful family.

There's been a bake sale in their community, a book sale is being organized right now by friends for October 26th at the historic train station in Hopewell Borough (for the details, click here), a Go Fund Me has been set up by his aunt, and We Care Sports at Schafer Sports Center dubbed their annual Kids Can Tri triathlon "Run for Robert" this year, and donated some of their proceeds to the family.
