A new family-friendly attraction is finally opening in Lacey Township.

In the beginning of May, Lake Barnegat park was expected to open in late-June or early-July. This inflatable water park is geared towards kids and adults, and residents will even be able to rent it out for parties.

According to NJ.com, there is official confirmation that the park will open on June 29th. People can expect a floating obstacle course, a slide, monkey bars with water underneath, a tower where you can just jump into the water, and many more fun games.

Water and games? Sounds like a perfect day off to me!

The minimum age to use the water park is 8 but no maximum age, so there are really no excuses not to go. The water is open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

If you have safety concerns about the inflatable water park, don't worry.

As stated by to NJ.com, Jim Wioland, recreation director, said " Three lifeguards will be stationed on the park during all open hours, or at least one guard per 15 swimmers. An additional guard will be stationed on the shore to eye the park from a distance and to track swimmers making their way out to it and back." A life vest is also required for all users with the township offering those who don't own one at no charge.

I can't think of a better way to spend time with family than at Barnegat Lake!
