A recent study was conducted to pin point the Best & Worst States to Drive In, in 2019 and New Jersey ranked in the top 10 worst.
I mean ... we all pretty much understand why. We get the real life experience everyday during our commutes. The traffic and congestion is terrible.
According to wallethub.com the congestion is actually costing us a pretty penny too, "congestion costs the average driver over $1,400 per year in the U.S."
But this list is based on so much more (and no, it's not based on New Jersey's worst drivers). This list is based on 30 key indicators of a positive commute. WalletHub broke down the statics based on rush-hour traffic and congestion, gas prices, car insurance rates, auto maintenance, weather, safety, road quality and more.
