Coming soon - $1 million renovations made to Philly airport.

We all know and love Philadelphia International Airport, but it could always improve. Thanks to a pair of state grants from the Multimodal Transportation Program and PennDOT's Aviation Transportation Assistance Program totaling $924,900, SEPTA platforms that run along all the terminals will be completely transformed.

SEPTA's Airport Line which launched in 1985, has platforms at terminals A, B, C, D, E and F and according to Phillyvoice, funding from the grants will support structural and aesthetic work at all four platforms without disrupting any of the airlines duties or services.

Philadelphia International Airport serves of 32 million passengers throughout the year and with regular departures every thirty minutes, stopping any flights is not an option. The airport is a convenient travel option for those looking to travel to Philly or the surrounding area.

Renovations will be coming in May of 2020, so stay tuned for some big expensive changes.
