There is a new competition show on A&E. If you are a fan of competition shows, and if you like animals this is the perfect show for you. And Bensalem's own will be representing. "America's Top Dog" is a brand new competition show on A&E. A dog named Bowie and his handler  Officer Robert Schwarting, from Bensalem will be competing.

Bowie and Schwarting were chosen out of many to represent the east coast in the show. The two of them have win numerous awards and competitions together in the past.According to Patch.com, on  "America's Top Dog" they will be competing for $10,000 and $5,000 for the animal charity of their choice. Each episode will feature a new challenge that will allow the dogs to compete for the "America's Top Dog" title and an additional $25,000 prize.

The dogs will be tested on their speed, agility, strength and of course teamwork. The first episode of the  season aired last week, but you can catch the show Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on A&E.
