Princeton is definitely the place that you want to work when you get out of college if you're looking to become a teacher.
Did you know that Princeton teachers are the highest paid in Mercer County? The state released a list for the 2019-2020 school year of the teachers who get paid the most, and Princeton Public Schools were are the top of that list for Mercer County.
According to patch.com, teacher who teach at Princeton Public School get a median salary of $82,589. This is the highest median amount in Mercy County and the 40th Highest in the state.
The salary went up about 1.23 percent more than it was last year.
Patch.com says that “The released information is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending.” The highest paying teachers come from Northern Valley Regional Schools in Bergen County. They get a median salary of $107,787.
