A candlelight vigil will be held for Robbinsville's Samantha Josephson tomorrow night. The vigil will take place at 7 pm at the West Town Center Lake Gazebo on Tuesday (April 2).

Plan ahead (and possibly consider carpooling) if you're heading to the vigil. Officials are reminding us that parking will be extremely limited. In fact, Lake Drive between George and Garden Place will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 6 pm tomorrow night.

Josephson was tragically murdered Friday after leaving a bar near the University of South Carolina. Officials believe the 21-year-old college senior entered the wrong vehicle after requesting an Uber. A 24-year-old man has been charged with her murder. A motive was not immediately clear.

Samantha's parents, Seymour & Marci, announced on Sunday that their daughter's funeral will take place on Wednesday.

Samantha's funeral will take place at noon on Wednesday, April 3, at Congregation Beth Chaim (329 Village Road East) in the Princeton Junction section of West Windsor, her parents wrote.

Burial will follow at Perrineville Cemetery in the Perrineville section of Millstone in Monmouth County.

Meanwhile, a vigil was held in South Carolina on Sunday evening as her friends and family gathered to remember the girl.

Additionally, some of Samantha's closest loved ones started a GoFundMe fundraiser to raise money to cover the costs associated with Samantha's funeral and memorial service.

The GoFundMe page received more than $57,000 in donations from more than 1,400 donors, as of Sunday night.
