Middletown will be hosting its fourth annual "Shop With A Cop."

Sunday, December 1st, the fourth annual Shop With A Cop will be taking place. Middletown Township Police Department are working to create a happy holiday season, even for those struggling a bit more than others. On December 1st, the police department will be taking select children on a shopping spree to make their holidays a little more jolly.

The Middletown Township Police Department are currently looking for donations, as well as referrals as for who would benefit according to Patch.com. As stated by the police department, children must be 5-13 years old and from the Neshaminy School District or referred by a police officer himself/herself. To qualify they must also be facing a family hardship, such as being homeless, having a deployed family member, or someone who has lost a job in the family.

If you know someone who could qualify to Shop With A Cop, you can receive an application by e-mailing mrobinson@mtpd.org. They must be sent in by November 21st, and you will be e-mailed with your status after it is reviewed.
