If you like pizza, you'll love this news. An outdoor pizza oven is coming to downtown Princeton, according to Walkable Princeton.

In an effort to expand their outdoor dining ability during the coronavirus crisis, the owners of Teresa Caffe got approval to put a mobile pizza oven on Hulfish Street. It will be parked directly infront of Mediterra restaurant (Teresa Caffe and Mediterra are both owned by the Terra Momo restaurant group). Tables will be set up in the square right there, near the fountain. Who's hungry? The mobile pizza oven will be open every night until 9pm

The article states that the pizzas will be prepared in Mediterra's kitchen because Teresa Caffe is closed right now, because it's undergoing renovations.

I'm excited about this. I can't wait to stop by. I'm sure you'll be able to smell the pizza baking throughout Palmer Square. Yum. It sounds like a fun outdoor experience with friends, family, co workers, or a date.  With it being mobile, I wonder if you'll be able to rent it for private parties eventually. That's would be so cool to have it in your driveway for your guests.

I love the way restaurants are being creative these days to maximize their business. The weather's been really nice lately for stroll around Princeton and some fresh, wood-fired pizza.

I didn't even think about this, but, apparently there was a concern about whether smoke from the pizza oven would bother people wandering around the area. Princeton Council will monitor the situation, and if it becomes too much of a problem, the new mobile pizza oven will have to stop operations.
