The Parkway & the Turnpike are Closing Rest Stops for Renovations

As a Jersey Shore girl, I drive on the Parkway and Turnpike very often in the Summer. Starting Labor Day, there will be two major rest stops will be closed, but when they return on Memorial Day, they will be bigger and better!

The Thomas Edison service area on the Turnpike, which is in Woodbridge, and the Monmouth service area in Wall on the Parkway, will be getting new restaurants and facilities. These rest stops will be completely closed, which means no gas, and no bathrooms. Will this mean we may have to pee in the woods if we have to go to the bathroom? Looks like it!

If you're headed in the direction of these rest stops, make sure you fuel up before you get on the highway. Also make sure you go to the bathroom before you leave the house, just in case!
