With an overall survival rate of just seven percent over five years, pancreatic cancer has no early detection tests, no effective long-term treatments and, unless the cancer is surgically removed in its earliest stages, no cure.

An estimated 53,000 Americans will be diagnosed this year alone, and more than 41,000 will die of the disease.

The Lustgarten Foundation, the nation’s largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research, is working to change these grim statistics by advancing the scientific and medical research related to the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and cure of pancreatic cancer.

The Lustgarten Foundation is America’s largest private foundation dedicated to funding pancreatic cancer research. 100% of all donations to Lustgarten Foundation go directly to pancreatic cancer research. For additional information, please visit their website: www.lustgarten.org.
