The Raven Bar Will Re-Open This Weekend; Just in Time for New Hope Pride

One of the most popular bars in New Hope will re-open this weekend… just in time for New Hope's pride celebrations, according to officials.

Yeah, the Raven Bar is expected to re-open on Friday (May 17). The bar had been closed since mid-March for repairs and renovations to the facility.

Officials from the popular resort told the New Hope Free Press that the restaurant and bar were forced to close due to “sudden repair issues" back in March. The hotel portion of the Raven resort remained open during the closures.

Officials told the newspaper that the problems were “pretty major,” and they said repairs involved the “kitchen and roof." However, back in March officials promised to be open in time for New Hope Pride.

… And they’ve done just that. The Raven will have a soft re-opening on Friday evening (May 17).

"Thank you all for your patience this past couple of months - we miss you all and look forward to seeing you soon at the Clarion and The Raven," the resort wrote on Facebook.

New Hope Celebrates, PrideFest, will take place this weekend. Planned events include a large parade, large fair and more.

Fans of the popular resort rejoiced on Facebook saying in more than 30 comments that they were excited the business would be open in time for the summer. Their outdoor pool, which is open to the public, is usually very busy all summer long.

The Raven is located at 385 W. Bridge Street in New Hope. It's not clear if they have plans for a larger grand re-opening.
