The Doylestown annual Santa Parade is set to take place next week, November 29.

After your insane day of shopping on Black Friday rest up for an evening of holiday spirit because the Doylestown Santa Parade is happening that night at 6:30 p.m.

Like most holiday parades in the area, there will be a tree lighting and other fun holiday themed events.

Here's some great news for the kids ... when the tree lighting is finished, Santa will be available to meet at his cottage at State and Hamilton.

One thing you should take note of according to patch.com is, "This year's route is different than in the past. According to Central Bucks Regional Police, Santa will now be traveling on W. State Street from Clinton Street to Main Street, where he will begin the holiday festivities."

Also, there will be new parking restrictions as well due to getting an actual fire truck on stage. Patch.com says, "parking will be prohibited on both sides of State Street between Pine and Hamilton streets starting at 3 p.m. that day." and the parking restrictions should be lifted around 8:30 p.m. that night.
