Have you ever been sitting next to your boyfriend and you see what pops up on his phone and you freak out a little? Maybe it's a text from one of his exes or maybe he was just liking a girl's picture on Instagram, or maybe it was even worse, like a picture of a girl's boobs?

Well, don't freak out if you see that last one on your man's phone, cuz chances are, it's not real.

According to Cosmopolitan, a woman was sitting on her couch with her husband a few nights ago, when he received a text message along with a picture of a woman lifting up her shirt. “Hey, it’s Jen. I’m in Hicksville. Did you still want to meet up tonight," the message read in part.

Well, she's not alone. A thread on Reddit revealed that many other guys got the same text message! Many women were happy to find out that the message was a scam or else they might have started a huge fight with their boyfriends or husbands.

If you receive this message, by the way, experts are warning you to simply ignore it. Don't click on any of the links or images, and definitely, don't respond to the message. The Federal Communication Commission says do not answer any communications with unfamiliar numbers, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

So watch out for this scam and don't start a fight with your boyfriend or husband unless you know for sure he's texting with a real woman.
