Update: Sports Bar & Restaurant Coming to Robbinsville

A new, casual restaurant and sports bar is coming to the old USA Diner site on Route 130 in Robbinsville, according to Community News.

Almost immediately after publishing my story about Robbinsville's plans to reopen the old, vacant USA Diner in the township, not knowing what would be opening in its place, Community News says they know what's going there. A newly constructed, casual restaurant and sports bar. Yes, they're knocking down the old, rundown diner. I haven't been by there recently, but, apparently, demolition has already started.

I'm thinking Robbinsville residents will be happy about this news, since they don't have many options for eating and drinking in the township. Although, the casual dining scene in Robbinsville seems to be getting better, slowly, with the opening of PJ's Pancake House on Main Street.

No word on a construction timeline or when the new restaurant and sports bar will be opening. Hopefully, soon.
