Where Teachers can get Deals on Food & Supplies this Week!
When I was a server, I used to always say that everyone should have to be a server once in their life to understand how stressful of a job it is. People think it is so easy and all we do is take food orders and blah blah blah. I think the same can be said about teaching. People think teachers just play with kids all day...HA! I have plenty of friends who are teachers that will tell you, that is clearly not the case. It's hard work. I used to teach dance to kindergartners and I currently coach high school cheerleading and let me tell you, it is NOT EASY! You need a lot of patience and it can be very stressful in many ways. Teachers are really unappreciated and I'm glad there's an entire week to celebrate what they do every day, which is teach and mold the minds of our youth.
According to Yahoo.com, there are a ton of restaurants and plenty in our area that are offering free food to show appreciation for teachers for the rest of the week.
