Amazon is launching a new grocery store chain and one of their first locations will be in Philadelphia.

You might be thinking (just as I was) ... Doesn't Amazon own Whole Foods, so why would they be opening a separate grocery store chain?!

Well apparently these two chains won't be in competition with one another, says phillyvoice.com.

So, Amazon is looking to open the first of the chains stores in Chicago, Los Angeles and lucky us ... Philadelphia. Although there is no actual information that has leaked on where the Philly location will be yet.

So let's just hope their plans follow through, because I'm very interested in checking this store out.

As for the food inventory that will stocked in these stores phillyvoice.com reported, that they will be selling mainstream food like Oreos and popular sodas.

Yes, I'm here for that!
