An M. Night Shyamalan Movie is About to Start Filming in NJ
I see famous people.
If you love mystery/psychological thrillers with twisty endings, then you're mostly likely a fan of M. Night Shyamalan. And if you're familiar with his movies, you know that Shyamalan has a soft spot for us; he loves filming his projects in Philadelphia and its surrounding areas. His movie Glass (2019) starring Bruce Willis, Sarah Paulson, James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy and Samuel L. Jackson took place in and was filmed in Philadelphia.
According to the NJ Motion Picture & Television Commission, this time he's moving production to Burlington County!
The movie is called Knock at the Cabin and it's slated to premiere February 2023.
According to the listing, filming will take place in May. No word on exact whereabouts, but it'll be hard to miss a big-shot camera crew and A-list actors.
And you're going to flip when you see the casting for this movie, because I did.
Jonathan Groff
Love this guy. You know him from Disney's Frozen, Lin Manuel-Miranda's Broadway production of Hamilton, and Mind Hunter on Netflix. He's got the lead role in this movie.
Dave Bautista
You probably know this beefcake best from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy movies. He's really coming up!
Rupert Grint
Most notably from the Harry Potter franchise. I swear to god if I see this guy, I will jump out of a moving vehicle to get his autograph.
Ben Aldridge
You'll see the guy in TV shows like Pennyworth and The Long Call. He also hilariously plays a dumb d-bag in Fleabag.
Other details of this movie are under tight wraps while it's in pre-production, so we don't know if all of these actors will be in New Jersey, but if they are it'll be an exciting spectacle!
