Bensalem park summer jobs will begin to accept applications next week.

Every summer Bensalem Township offers something sweet for it's community though it's Parks and Recreation Department. The town hires it's residents for seasonal work at it's public parks.

It looks like their getting the ball rolling early too. The department announced that they will begin to accept applications for these positions as early as this Monday, March 4th.

It's the perfect type summer job for high schoolers or college students. I remember growing up and my best friend had a similar job back in my hometown and I thought it was super cool and convenient.

Thinking about applying? Here are the regulations and what you need to do to complete the application process according to patch.com, "All applications for summer program jobs must be picked up in person from the Parks and Recreation Department, at 2400 Byberry Rd. in Bensalem. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and a Bensalem resident. The applications must be returned to the office no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, March 9."

Another cool perk about this position for students is that you have an amazing opportunity to practice your job interviewing skills. Bensalem Township's Parks and Recreation Department says it's mandatory that you have to complete the interview process to be considered for these limited slots.
