Are You Signed Up for Mercer County’s Emergency Notification System?

Hurricane Florence is pounding North Carolina right now, and I can't help but think about what I would do if a storm like that hit our area. Scary. So, I did some research and found something I didn't even know existed on Mercercounty.org. Are you signed up for Mercer County Emergency Notifications? The County's Swift911 will call you when there is an emergency in the area, and pass along important information. You'll know it's them calling....on your caller id, it'll say Mercer County Alert.  Good news...your number won't be given to any other agencies or companies. You can get registered here. It's probably a smart idea.
