A large group of car dealers, including 41 in Bucks County plan to donate a ton of children's winter coats this year.

The amazing group is called 'The Auto Dealers Caring for Kids Foundation' which is a collaboration of numerous car dealers who formed to helped the community.

So, 41 of the 170 dealers just so happened to be located in Bucks County which means 6,300 out of the 52,700 brand-new winter coats will be donated right here locally.

This will actually be the 12th Annual 'Driving Away the Cold Program.'

This is just amazing to hear that this coat drive has been going on for this long.

According to patch.com, "One in six children in the Greater Philadelphia region lives in poverty and a warm winter coat is one of the essential items they often live without."

So it's crucially that these car dealers continue the drive every year.

Patch.com has listed the local YMCA locations where the coats will be handed out, check them out below.

  • Fairless Hills YMCA, Fairless Hills
  • Upper Bucks YMCA, Quakertown
  • Central Bucks YMCA, Doylestown
  • Central Bucks YMCA, Warminster
