Looks like something new is finally going to open in the old Starbucks on White Horse Avenue in Hamilton Township. Hope you're hungry.

A big sign is up in one of the front windows that says a new place called Family Café will be opening soon, serving breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day...breakfast sandwiches, omlets, pancakes...yum. We'll even have breakfast for dinner in my house sometimes. We call it Brinner...get it? Lol.

I saw some chatter about this future restaurant in the private Hamilton Happenings Facebook group. Some think that this isn't the best idea because of parking. The complaint being that there are simply not enough parking spots available.

Other Facebook commenters said the owners of this new place are the owners of the now closed Fame Diner, just up the street. That's not confirmed but, rumor has it the rent of this old Starbucks building is half the price of what the rent was at Fame, so they're going to open again in this new spot. Interesting.

Many locals were devastated when Fame Diner announced it was closing for good back in October. It was a hot spot for many, many years in Hamilton Township.

You don't typically see a Starbucks close, but, this closure was because a brand new location was built across the street, with a drive thru, to accommodate the volume of customers.

I can't wait to see what this new place is like. I'll keep an eye out for the grand opening.
