George School Students Hosting Prom Attire Sale

It's great to see young people helping others that are less fortunate. It looks like students from the George School in Newtown, PA are trying to make sure everyone is looking nice when attending big school events.

Patch.com reported that students from the high school have donated over 150 items to resell at a way cheaper price.  They know it can be expensive to buy everything for prom or any school event, so they want to make sure there’s an affordable option for everyone. The big sale event will be held at the George School Fitness Athletic Center this Saturday, January 25, from 1 pm to 5 pm.

The sales seem like they are going to be pretty great. You'll be able to find outfits that were originally priced at $500 but thanks to this event, you'll be able to take it home for $50, according to Patch.com. You'll also be able to find cocktail dresses for as low as $20.

It was also mentioned on Patch.com that all the formal attire that will be sold has been gently used.

Just so you know, if you get hungry while you are shopping at the George School Fitness Athletic Center, they will have tacos, chili, and cookies at no cost.
