Help Decorate Newtown For Halloween on October 19th

The Newtown Halloween Art Scene invites locals to help paint the town for the holiday.

The annual event gathers residents to help paint local business' store fronts with Halloween theme pieces of art.

The event is set to take place on October 19th with a rain date of October 20th.

Patch.com says, "Registrants can pick up paint supplies at Newtown Bicycle Shop parking lot (30 N. State Street) between 9 and 10 a.m. the day of the event. Artists should bring their own brushes, as well as paper towels, a tarp, and a container with water for cleaning brushes."

By the way registration will cost you $5 per window and you have sign up by October 14th.

FYI, this is totally a friendly competition and they will be handing out awards on Saturday, October 26th after Newtown Halloween Parade.

So if you think you have what it takes, you should totally sign up and show Newtown what you got.
