Local Organization To Send Special Needs Kids To Disney

Mercer County's Sunshine Foundation will have its 98th operation Dream Lift on Tuesday, May 7th.

Dream Lift is a special program that sends special needs children and their families to enjoy some time in the happiest place on earth... Disney World!

These kids dream of flying on a plane and getting to go to Disney, and this program gives them the opportunity to do so.

There will be a special celebration before the plane departs from Trenton.

Starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 7th (tomorrow), there will be a sendoff for the kids featuring Disney characters, the Philly Fanatic, and Boomer, the Trenton Thunder mascot.

This is really such a special opportunity for these kids to go to the happiest place on Earth. They're going to have the best time ever!

The sendoff will take place at the National Guard Facility in West Trenton tomorrow morning.
