A few months ago, I came up with some ideas on what should go in the space being vacated by Sears in the Quakerbridge Mall.  Now, I'm turning my attention the the vacancies in Nassau Park.

Currently, the old Sam's Club and Babies R Us stores remain empty in the popular shopping center and I think either location would be perfect for a Christmas Tree Shop.

If you're not familiar with Christmas Tree Shops, you don't know what you're missing.  I remember when I first discovered the retail chain, I thought "How can a store that sells Christmas trees stay open year round?"  Then, I realized that Christmas Tree Shops sell way more than just Christmas trees.  In fact, I'm not even sure if they sell Christmas trees.

According the company's website, Christmas Tree Shop started as a single store in Cape Cod, MA that sold holiday items.  The store became so popular that they started selling items for all seasons, not just Christmas.  Over time, they opened more stores and in 2003, the company was purchased by Bed Bath & Beyond.  Today, there are over 80 Christmas Tree Shops, including locations in Burlington, Cherry Hill, Freehold and Bridgewater.

Christmas Tree Shops feature seasonal decorations, furniture, curtains and rugs, housewares, food and more.  You can get a taste of what it offers on it's website, but you really have to see it in person to fully grasp what it has to offer.
