UPDATE 5/27, 9:42 P.M. - The Connecticut State Police are confirming that Peter Manfredonia has been apprehended in Maryland.

A manhunt for an accused killer has spread to three states as Connecticut police and the FBI search for University of Connecticut student Peter Manfredonia in connection with a double murder and kidnapping last Friday.

According to the FBI, the crimes took place in Willington, Connecticut on Friday, May 22nd, and included an alleged home invasion, double murder, and kidnapping.

The kidnapping victim's car was later found in North Jersey, and Manfredonia was last spotted in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Because of the suspect's travel, law enforcement is searching in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

The FBI and law enforcement have posted a number of updates since the original wanted post was shared, including a surveillance photo believed to show Manfredonia in East Stroudsburg on Monday.

And an update from Tuesday afternoon, was just posted with information on a vehicle that was stolen in the area that Manfredonia was last spotted in:

Police and FBI say that if you spot Peter Mandredonia, you should consider him armed and dangerous, you should not approach him, and you should call 9-1-1 immediately.
