According to businessinsider.com, Taco Bell could be removing several items from its menu in mid-August.

Businessinsider.com sights an anonymous post on Reddit that says that Taco Bell will remove "all potato items, Quesaritos, Beefy Frito Burritos, and the Triple Layer Nachos and Nachos Supreme."

A representative from Taco Bell did not confirm the rumor to businessinsider.com, but they did say that the chain was "in the process of evolving our menu to simplify operations and make our team member and customer experiences easier."

If you're not familiar with the Quesarito, it is part quesadilla, part burrito. According to Taco Bell's menu, it contains seasoned beef, 2 types of cheese, rice, reduced-fat sour cream, and chipotle sauce.

As expected, people on social media are not happy.

The Beefy Fritos Burrito adds Fritos to seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, and rice.

The potato items on Taco Bell's menu include Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, the Cheesy Potato Griller, and Spicy Potato Soft Tacos.

According to Nation's Restaurant News, Taco Bell is America's 4th largest restaurant chain.
