You can have an overnight camp out at Mercer County Park in West Windsor starting July 8th.

Mercer County Executive, Brian M. Hughes and the Mercer County Park Commission held a ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday (July 1st), and revealed details about this new experience. The new campground is in the East Picnic Area of Mercer County Park. It has 10 campsites...6 with "lean-to structures," and 4 where you can put a tent, according to Mercer County's official website.

Each camp site can accomodate up to 6 campers at a time, and during your camping trip you can explore the park, which offers boating, fishing, hiking, and recently announced, bike rentals. You can reserve and rent a camp site through Community Pass for $20 a night, with the maximum stay time being a week.

Wondering what these camp sites come equipped with? Mercercounty.org says you'll get a campfire ring, picnic table, and charcoal grill. Full restrooms, water service, a playground, and a trash disposal station can be found at the East Picnic Area, which is a short walk from the campground. Not bad. It sounds tempting.
