Governor Phil Murphy could make New Jersey the first state to ban the use of exotic animals in traveling animal acts, after he was sent "Nosey’s Law" by legislators.

If you know the story of Nosey, you'll be all for this ban as well. Poor Nosey was allegedly abused and neglected by his owner while performing in a traveling circus.

This means you won't see animals such as elephants and other exotic animals at events like fairs, parades, circuses, carnivals, and petting zoos. The bill won over the Senate and the Assembly and now Governor Phil Murphy just needs to sign it! I'm hoping he does! Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Hawaii and New York, are also considering adopting similar bans in their own states.
