Last month, we told you that the owners of Hamilton Jewelers were creating an online auction to benefit independent and small businesses in the Greater Princeton community.

Well, the Princeton Community Auction is happening right now and so far, it has generated about $25,000, which is great, but only half of the auction's ultimate goal.

The auction ends on May 20, so you still have time to make a bid...and more importantly, help out an amazing cause.

There are more than 130 lots to bid on and the list of items are so varied that almost everyone is guaranteed to find something that they'll want.

There are jewelry and watches, gift cards, and several pieces of art. Plus, there are some really cool experiences to bid on.

For example, imagine having your name on a building in Princeton. That's right...you can bid on "the opportunity to have your name on a plaque outside one of ML7’s downtown Princeton developments or properties." Now that's one way to impress people. ("Oh look...here is a building with my name on it. Do you have a building with your name on it? Yeah. I didn't think so).

If that's not quite your style, maybe bid on a chance to create your own ice cream flavor with The Bent Spoon. (My flavor would involve bananas, caramel, brownies, and maybe almonds).

There are also several tours you can bid on. I like the idea of bidding on both a guided tour of Princeton University's campus AND a private Princeton pub crawl.  (I would do the University tour during the day and follow it up with the pub crawl in the evening).

Jammin' Crepes is a Princeton favorite and you could bid on a chance to win a Jammin Crepes Food Truck Party.

And check this out, if you own a business, you can bid on $2,500 advertising campaign on your favorite station...94.5 PST.

There are so many other amazing lots up for auction and all of the proceeds will go to such a great cause, so please consider placing a bid before the auction ends on Wednesday. For all the info, click here.
