The line up for Music Fest Princeton 2019 has been announced.

This year will be the second annual Music Fest Princeton which intentionally is the replacement for the long time running JazzFeast.

Patch.com says, "The family-friendly festival features six bands on two stages, food and drink vendors, retail offerings and activity tables at Palmer Square on September 15th"

What's really special about the musical acts is that they will we be performing tributes from a variety of different New Jersey artists. The bands will be covering Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra and more.

Personally, I'd show up for the Fugees tribute.

Here's a list of this years musical lineup according to patch.com.

  • Swingadelic, a Jazz Swing band out of New York City, will kick off the festival by playing Frank Sinatra's greatest hits.
  • Some Assembly Required, a local favorite, will play the mid-day set on the main stage featuring an eclectic mix of Jersey's best including the best of the Fugees, Spin Doctors, Blues Traveler, Fountains of Wayne, Whitney Houston and more.
  • The B Street Band, a tribute to "The Boss" (Bruce Springsteen) will headline the event.
  • JB Rocks will warm the crowd up with a strolling ensemble in the street prior to the main stage opening, and the side stage will feature a Paul Simon Tribute with Aleo Music, and a Bon Jovi Tribute with Slippery When Wet.
