One of the Healthiest Counties in the Country is Right Here in NJ

Holy smokes! Who knew that one of the healthiest counties in the country was right here in PST Nation!

According to The Patch, the U.S. News & World Report and the Aetna Foundation just named Burlington County one of the healthiest counties in the country. Number 281on a list of 3,000 is not bad, especially since there are 21 counties in New Jersey. The other counties in New Jersey that made the list were Morris County (#23), Hunterdon County (#27), Somerset County (#66), Bergen County (#147), Sussex County (#197), and Monmouth County (#298).

How do the U.S. News & World Report and the Aetna Foundation decide what the healthiest counties are? There are 10 categories including Education, Food & Nutrition, Environment and more. Besides this, the rankings are based on whether or not the communities are urban or rural and whether they're up and coming or high performing.

Way to go Burlington and the rest of the counties in New Jersey that made the list of healthiest counties in the country! I think next year we need to do better!
